Master Scoop: When learning becomes sobremesa

Master Scoop: When learning becomes sobremesa

When I think about why Cool Hope exists, it's never been just about the ice cream.

It's about what happens when you give people a reason to stay. To extend the moment. To let a conversation stretch beyond what's expected because something important is happening.

That's why we created Master Scoop: It's not a class. It's a sobremesa.

We live scrolling brilliant ideas at double speed, consuming knowledge fast and fragmented. But the best things I've learned happened around a table — conversations that stretched until 3am, dinners where someone said something that changed how I saw the world.

Master Scoop is my attempt to recreate that.

We partnered with SeriouslyCreative to design something between a TED talk and your favorite dinner. A fascinating topic, a guest thinker, 25 people max. 40 minutes of narrative exploration, 40 minutes of open conversation, and ice cream to close the night.

For our first edition we explored artificial intelligence with Enrique Völckers-Nin: Are we creating with AI, deciding through it, or becoming competent with it?

The room was full. The conversation ran past its time. And people stayed because they wanted to.

Walking what we preach

Cool Hope isn't just a brand that talks about sobremesa. We enjoy living it.

Master Scoop is our invitation to slow down together. To use ice cream as the perfect excuse to extend the moment. Because people are hungry for spaces where they can be curious and present, where the goal isn't networking — it's genuine connection.

The next Master Scoop is coming soon. Same ice cream. New ideas.
